End of Term Three Message to Our High School Community
As Term Three comes to an end, it’s a fitting time to reflect on our progress and refocus our energy ahead of the final chapter of the school year. We commend our students for the hard work, resilience, and community spirit they’ve shown so far, and thank all staff and families for their continued support.
Academic Focus: Setting Up for Success
Term Four is crucial in determining academic outcomes. Whether students are preparing for final assessments, external exams, or transitioning to their next year level, this is the time to consolidate knowledge, sharpen skills, and aim high.
We urge all students to maintain focus, set clear academic goals, and take full advantage of the resources and support available — including revision sessions, teacher consultations, and study planning. The habits formed now will directly influence final results and can open doors to future pathways, including subject selections, QCE success, and post-school options.
Let’s remember success is not just about talent — it’s about effort, consistency, and commitment.
Attendance Matters More Than Ever
To support strong academic achievement, attendance is critical. Every lesson missed is a learning opportunity lost. Whether it’s classroom teaching, hands-on activities, or exam preparation, being present ensures students don’t fall behind.
We’re asking families and students to make school attendance a top priority in Term Four. Unless a student is genuinely unwell, they should be at school and engaged in learning. Let’s finish the year strong, together.
Summer Uniform Expectations
As we move into warmer months, a reminder that our uniform policy remains in place and must be followed. Wearing the correct school uniform reflects personal pride and respect for our school values.
Key reminders:
- Uniform should be clean, neat, and worn correctly always.
- Hats are required for outdoor activities, in line with our SunSmart policy.
- Only approved school jumpers or jackets may be worn.
- Jewellery and footwear must comply with school guidelines.
Uniform isn’t just about appearance — it’s about showing that we belong to a community with shared standards and pride in who we are.
Looking Ahead
Term Four is a time of focus, determination, and celebration. It’s our chance to bring the year to a successful close — academically, personally, and as a school community.
But before we dive into the final stretch, we encourage all students and families to enjoy a well-deserved two-week holiday. Take time to rest, recharge, and return ready to give your best.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to an exciting and successful Term Four.
